Edward Jager was born in Davis County, Utah in 1921. He died in Salt Lake County, Utah in 2001.
He was the son of Arjen Jager and Tryntje Aardema Jager, the seventh of nine children, and a twin.
He married his wife, Fay, in 1948. They had five children, two daughters and three sons.
He served in the Army Air Corp during WWII. He made his living as a general contractor and loved the outdoors. He was a dedicated member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
